JOHNSON & HIGGINS

1997 Insurance Market Review & Forecast: Project management as well as design of logo, graphical user interface, and CD-ROM packaging.

This was the client's first attempt to link traditional corporate communications with leading-edge multimedia. We made a great deal up as we went along, held our breath more than once, and managed (with terrific teamwork) to carry it off to everyone's pride and satisfaction.

CLIENT:
JOHNSON & HIGGINS

Concept,
d
esign, text, programming, and internal promotion for the company's first Website

This was done in the Bronze Age of the early '90's, when a company's management didn't necessarily understand why it should expend its time and resources on the mysterious entity called the Web.

Eventually they got the point.

CLIENT:
JOHNSON & HIGGINS

Logos/corporate identification for major annual industry event

"Neon sign" for
corporate intranet site

"Think" had long been central to the company's culture. The challenge here was classic: Add some novelty, but stick to the message.

THE ECONOMIST

Prototype for weekly faxed executive briefing: Our task was to take one week's issue of The Economist and condense the articles by up to 90% while maintaining the magazine's distinctive voice. When the Editor saw this, he didn't realize we had decimated his text.

Mission accomplished.
